Jodrell Bank is the latest venue from The Modern Caterer, home to the world famous Lovell Telescope, set in the heart of rural Cheshire. Peter Booth aka The Modern Caterer has been cooking his simple, fresh, seasonal food for nearly 10 years now. A popular destination with cyclists, they stop not just for the unique views but to enjoy the fresh, classic British comfort food.

The menu reflects our commitment to using local, fresh produce wherever possible including meat from W H Frost where beef and pork are sourced from Cheshire and High Peak Derbyshire farms, cheese and dairy from H S Bourne in Malpas and Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese and breads sourced from the award-winning Barbakan Delicatessen.

The cafe is open 10am – 4.30pm every day and welcomes non-paying guests who may fancy a spot of lunch whilst passing through the Cheshire area.
