11 Rode Hall Farmers’ Market
Rode Hall Farmers’ Market is in its fifth year and is growing in success every year. It is renowned for being a popular community event where people can get together and socialise whilst supporting the rural economy. We have over 70 stalls of local and organic produce and it gives these producers the chance to sell directly to the public.
There are refreshments on offer and we provide tea, coffee and light lunches in the tea rooms. We encourage families and also have a free children’s activity.
First Saturday of every month except January: 9.30am – 1.30pm

12 Spitting Feathers
Spitting Feathers is a small modern brewery producing award-winning beers – free from colourings, flavourings and artificial additives – using traditional methods at the Spitting Feathers Farm and Brewery just outside Chester.
Pigs raised on the used barley go on to the Brewery Tap or into the hog roaster for our beer festivals and events. Bees pollinate fruit trees in our orchard and collect the nectar to make honey for our seasonal beer ‘Honey Trap’.
