o, why did we turn our hand to marketing products and services on the internet? We started by looking at the three
main opportunities for entrepreneurs – investing in property, investing in the stock market and online business. So, why did we choose to take advantage of the power of the internet instead of investing in property or the stock market?
Greg: “Well, I had already tried my hand at forex trading and discovered that I was a fear based trader, being reluctant to place a trade because of the possible loss involved. We also didn’t have jobs back in 2009, so we figured, rightly or wrongly, that no property lender would finance our property purchase, as we had no definite income with which to fund the monthly repayments. Making an income promoting ourselves online seemed the only option and it turns out there were many advantages. Firstly, you don’t need to have a tangible product or service because you can sell other people’s products for 50% commission or more. You can sell other people’s services for a commission and you can create your own product in just a few short hours and sell it to reap 100% of the profits. Then you can

The tools you need to start with are quite simple, as you only need a computer and an internet connection. It also helps if you know how to type, can read an e-mail, know about Facebook and have watched videos on YouTube before.
These days you can even get the internet and use of a computer for free, for example in your local library. However, this isn’t ideal for setting up
your online business, as it’s preferable to have a laptop or computer that you have unlimited access to. However, if you can’t afford a computer just yet and, you’re determined to make a go of your online business, then free options can provide you with the perfect break.
Once you have a computer and internet connection, the world is your oyster!
