Pupils enjoy dog’s hot tales
THE children at Looe’s Barbican Pre-school had a fun visit from firefighter Mark Smith and his dog Nelson.
Mark talked to the youngsters about fire safety and how Nelson helps to discover the causes of fires.
The children took an instant liking to the firefighting dog, who allowed them to dress him in his protective shoes, before demonstrating how he is trained to find fire accelerators.
