Men or Pan Am, travel is now all sass and very little class. It’s over-sold flights, long lines and stripping down, only to be groped by airport scanners. And let’s not mention extra fees for luggage and buying your own snacks—alas. Yet there are things you can do, to make the route to your destination chic and easy.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS I find in an increasingly casual world,
the better one dresses, the better they are treated. Be comfortable on the plane, but that’s no excuse for sweats!
