weekend March 31- April 1. With the weather heating up, so is competition, and the leader-board changes at each show. The May 5-6 event starts the five ETTPA- USTPA co-sanctioned shows. The June show will in- clude a ranch sorting clinic, with instructors Grady Underwood, Louie Saggione and Justin Underwood. Pre-entry is encouraged, and the clinic fee is $100 per rider. At the March 31- April 1 show, penning events and champions were Open Draw (James Dunn/David Walker/Brett Hensley), #6 (Brian Bolding/Cheyenne Yandle/Nick Basso), #9 (David Walker/Grady Underwood/Seth Hensley), #3 (Nick Basso/Spencer McDaniel/Brenda Dunn), and Youth (Spencer McDaniel/Ian Sarpy/Grady Underwood). #10 Arena Sorting champs were Susan Rollins/Grady Under- wood/Brett Hensley. Ranch Sorting events and winners in- cluded Open Ranch (Grady Underwood/Eddie Oglesby), #6 (Grady Underwood/Mike Pruitt), Youth (Spencer Mc- Daniel/Seth Hensley), #2 (Mike Pruitt/Dean Hopkins), and #4 (Susan Rollins/James Dunn).


Aggie Super Circuit The 2012 Aggie Super Circuit was held April 6-7, at


Brazos Expo Center in Bryan. Friday’s entries exceeded 850, and Saturday’s over 800!


On the Thursday of folks arriving at the show, 2 free


mini clinics were offered. Nancy Cahill shared trail infor- mation, while Sharon Wellmann helped folks hone their showmanship skills.


Texas QHA’s Champion of Champions competition


was included in the Circuit. Novice amateur champions included Absolutely Watch Me (showmanship, w-riding, & hus/Lindsey Davis), Valor Del Cielo (reining/Karen Murff), So So Good (trail & equit/Hannah Belbs), RL Talk About Sudden (horsemanship/Michelle Crawford), and Surely I’m Sultry Hot (wp/Rebecca Sayre). Novice youth winners were Good Addiction (showmanship/Angie Watts), Captain Star Cruiser (reining/Kennedy Bryant), Joe Sudden (trail & w-riding/Jaclyn White), Amblin Good N Easy (w-horsemanship/Jordan Davis), Donskipmygood- image (wp/Carolyn Day), Only In Hollywood (hus/Carlee Purcell), and Ziped With Potential (equit/Rheagan Bryant).
