Coaches nominated stu- dents in each division who owned, trained, and showed the horses which they competed on in the Na- tional Collegiate Show. Winners of the Top Trainer Awards received handmade trophy spurs donated by David Farkus of Weatherford. Winning this coveted award were

Upon conclusion of the last
class, the American Quarter Horse Association treated participants to a special tour of the American Quar- ter Horse Museum. AQHA Hall of Famer and past ASHA President, BF Yeates, was in attendance along with the students and their collegiate advisors. The Show concluded with a banquet and awards ceremony.
