Psoriasis is a well known skin disease, but not until recently has its far-reaching health consequences been grasped.
Recent studies are proving it to be much more than just a troublesome, topical skin condition.
Psoriasis penetrates deep into the body, has very real, negative health impact- and deserves to be looked at much more closely.
-It's not just a topical condition! Let's take a closer look: Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin condition, known to be chronic (lifelong).
There are 6 types of Psoriasis, each having signs and symptoms unique to that par- ticular form:
Erthyrodermic psoriasis is an exceedingly inflammatory type. Pustular psoriasis cre- ates pustules on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands.
Acropustulosis, a very rare form that causes lesions on the ends of the fingers and toes.
