Tish Quirk – April 12, 2012…."John passed away quietly and peacefully in my arms early this morning.
The whole world, and indeed the horse world, has lost an amazing man. I have lost my love and my best friend. His gift to me when we married was to become involved in the horse world of my life."
He embraced the horse industry and went on to import many top amazing horses, including Best of
Luck. He loved his project of Horses magazine which combined his literary talent and the horse world. He became one of the top supporters of the sport, bringing the WORLD CUP FINALS to Del Mar in 1992, then to Vegas in 2000, 2003-2005-2007-2009.
John was also an award winning, world acclaimed writer publishing 6 novels about "winners"
