Dear ShowBiz, Macella’s Corner has become one
of my favorite parts of ShowBiz. Each issue she has something to say that in reality, we all want to say. She is concise and blunt and right on target. I enjoy the articles about people in the sport but her column is usually timely and right to the point. While I don’t agree with ev- erything she says, she hit this one out of the park.

Dear ShowBiz, I cannot thank you enough for the last ShowBiz cover of
Hap Hansen and Archie Bunker. I used to ride, and for a few years it was at Flintridge Riding Club where Jimmy Williams trained. I got to know the teen riders then, Hap, Susie, Annie and so many more although I was many years older than them. Hap was young but he was driven. He rode Gaited horses and jumpers and I was jealous. Over the years I have stopped riding but I never stopped following
Hap’s career. I think I watched at least half of the 99 wins he has had and was at Thermal for this one. I have to say he still makes me wish I rode just half as good as he does. Thank you for memorializing this win, I can hardly wait for 100!

Dear ShowBiz, Loved the story on Jet Pets. I always wondered how and where the import facility was for horses flying into the west
coast side of the country. I import an occasional horse and somehow it just arrives at our barn, like a silent miracle. David and Lindley at Jet Pets seem to really care and that makes me feel better about their care.
