mary functions: 1. Provide a comprehensive face-to-face assessment and clinical evaluation to determine the employee’s needs in resolving problems associated with drug use or alcohol violations;
2. Recommend appropriate education and/ or treatment as required and measure the employee’s progress in the program;
3. Evaluate the employee’s progress and determine if the employee has demonstrated successful compliance to warrant return to safety-sensitive functions; and
4. Determine and implement the frequency and duration of follow-up tests beyond the minimum required by DOT regulations.
As advocates for the public’s safety, a
