Sapphire sets sail


aga Sapphire departs from Southampton on her inaugural cruise on 26 March, visiting some of the most exciting destinations in the central Mediterranean over the Easter break.


Captain Alistair Mclundie will be steering the ship to a number of outstanding ports on the 23-night cruise including Dubrovnik and Venice. The first port of call is El Ferrol, for Santiago de Compostela on Spain’s north western coast, and return ports of call include rome and lisbon before Saga Sapphire makes her way back to Southampton. There is still to book your place on this historic maiden voyage, which is sure to be a celebration all the way.


Saga Sapphire will spend the rest of her maiden cruise season dividing her time between the Med, the UK, ireland, the Baltic and Norway, before setting sail to warmer climes in early November. She voyages to the Canary islands and onto the Caribbean in late November, before rounding off her year celebrating Christmas in the Canaries. in 2013 she will be back in the Caribbean then in


search of the Northern lights, before once again visiting the popular Canary islands.
