Era Training Center (ETC) provides sophisticated, multidisciplinary helicopter flight training through innovative programs and state­of­the­art Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs). ETC holds a CFR Part 142 Certificate, designating it as an FAA­ approved training center, and is also certified by ANAC, the aviation authority of Brazil. ETC’s existing Lake Charles, Louisiana facility features three FAA­approved Level 6 FSTDs; the EC135 P2+ and AS350B2 designed by Frasca International, and the AW139 designed by AgustaWestland as prime contractor, partnering with Frasca International. Each device provides exact cockpit replication for both single­pilot and dual­pilot IFR configuration. ETC offers diverse mission specific training programs that are pro­ vided to a wide array of helicopter personnel, including corporate, oil and gas, EMS, ENG, law enforcement, government and military opera­ tors. Survival Systems Inc. - Helicopter Underwater Egress Training


The Survival Systems Inc. HUET program is designed to provide all personnel working or traveling on or over water with the knowledge and skills necessary to react appropriately to on­board emergencies, aircraft ditching emergencies, and to care for themselves in a sea survival situation. Course Content:


• Safety and survival equipment utilization and deployment


• Personal rescue techniques and use of life rafts and signaling devices


• Characteristics of personal floatation devices and aviation jackets


• Introduction to search and rescue resources and equipment


• Preparation for emergency landing and ditch­ ing situations


• Evacuation and escape training utilizing the Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS™)


• Dry/wet evacuation through an emergency exit from a ditched aircraft on water
