FlightSafety’s newest all­helicopter Learning Center in Lafayette, La., devotes its efforts exclusively to helicopter safety. The center provides a broad range of mission­specific training supporting the representative fleet operating in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as EMS, law enforcement, newsgathering and more.


The new 70,000­square­foot state­of­the­art center can accommodate up to eight full flight simulators along with a full range of advanced technology flight training devices. Lafayette’s simulators and FTDs support night vision goggle training, and FlightSafety is acting aggressively to expand the number of training platforms that offer this valuable training. Lafayette Simulators: AgustaWestland AW­139 – (Available in 2013) Bell 206 B/L­TH­67, Bell 407 Sikorsky S­76 C+/C++, Sikorsky S­92 FlightSafety International also has helicopter Learning Centers in Dallas, TX, West Palm Beach, FL, Tucson, AZ and Farnborough, Great Britain.
