More reasons to be jubilant in 2012!


The St Giles Hospice Lottery celebrates its 15th anniversary this year – so it’s not just the Queen who’ll be celebrating a Jubilee in 2012!


To mark this special occasion, we are holding a Jubilee Draw on Friday 13th April. This will include an extra 15 £100 prizes on top of the usual £2,000 jackpot and other prizes.


There will also be a host of additional mystery prizes, courtesy of generous Promise Card supporters and other local businesses.


Existing lottery players will be entered automatically into the Jubilee Draw, and are also being encouraged to increase their chances of winning by purchasing an additional number.

Daphne’s magical win!


Congratulations to Daphne O’Dell, who scooped a runner-up prize of £2,000 in the St Giles Hospice Magical Winter Raffle.


Daphne – who coincidentally is a former St Giles Healthcare Assistant – was looking to book a coach trip away with partner Clifford Harrison when she found out about the win.

The windfall allowed her to aim for somewhere more exotic, and the Lichfield couple are now looking forward to a luxury break in Jersey.


“I worked at the hospice until my retirement, so I have seen how important their service is to people across the region,” says Daphne.


“Since then, I’ve organised a fundraising parachute jump in aid of St Giles Hospice and played the lottery each week from the moment it started.”
