Audience wowed by school’s cathedral performance M


ORE than 200 pupils from Bromley High School wowed an audience at Southwark Cathedral, who had assembled to watch a performance of The Armed Man, by Karl Jenkins.


“We were stunned,” said head Louise Simpson. “The Armed Man had our hearts racing and emotions running high.


“Enormous congratulations to every single performer and to everyone who contributed to the production in any way. Mrs Ridgeway directed with aplomb and I cannot thank her enough for her excellent leadership.”


One member of the audience said it was “the singular best performance I’ve ever seen by a school music department.”
