Something Old, Something New | WEDDING STYLE
5. The Flower Girls – The couple had two ring bearers and two flower girls for their wedding. The flower girls, Colleen’s nieces, wore handmade dresses, headbands and carried handmade petal baskets – all original creations by one of Colleen’s bridesmaids, her younger sister Megan.
6. The Program – The programs for the couple’s wedding were an original creation, designed from scratch by Josh and Colleen. The couple used a similar design for all of the signs that were used throughout the ceremony and reception – reserved rows, reserved tables and the favor table to name a few.
7. The Cake – The four-tier wedding cake was provided by Frosted Pumpkin of Atlanta. Colleen’s friends decorated the cake with succulents and placed it under the chuppah, creating a perfect setting for the beautiful wedding cake.
8. The Details – To top it all off, Colleen and Josh added many other personal touches to their event. During the cocktail hour, a “wishing tree” displayed wishes that guests had included on cards when sending in RSVPs for the wedding. As shown in this picture, wedding photos of family members, from brothers and sisters to grandparents, were displayed on a handmade stand during the cocktail hour and reception. And at the end of the night, guests were surprised with Colleen’s homemade jam as a wedding favor to help remember the fabulous wedding event.
