Gina & Joe

Favor Boxes: We found and assembled these beautiful Pearl "tuck top boxes" on www.papermart.com and used a heart- shaped hole puncher to create an opening in the box lid for the ribbons. Then we used sheer ribbon in latte and soft pink and tied into a bow while attaching a small tag that read, "Thank you".

Candy Bar: We bought several different sized jars and vases that we filled with our favorite candies!

Aisle Décor: We bought shepherd hooks, large mason jars, sheer light pink ribbon, pink pebbles, and cream and light pink roses for the ceremony aisle decor. We filled the jars with pebbles and added the roses. Next we secured the jars to the hooks with ribbon and finished the top of the hooks with a large pink ribbon tied into a bow.

Ceremony Décor: We bought Chinese paper lanterns from paperlanternstore.com in Beige, Latte and Pink. They were hung from the Oak Tree directly above our heads at the ceremony site.

Cake Décor: We found the rhinestone "L" cake topper online at weddingfactorydirect.com, and the rhinestone "ribbon" that adorned each cake tier online at shinetrim.com.

Groom Cake: I found an image for the New York Yankees (Joe's favorite team) and had an edible image created for the top of his Carrot Cake Groom's Cake (his favorite!)

Cocktail Hour Table Décor: We bought small bubble bowls and filled them with pink pebbles, water, and an ivory flower floating candle...then tied chocolate and pink ribbon at the top of the bowl.

Invitations: We bought the card stock from Party City and printed and assembled the wedding invitations ourselves,

Head Table: I bought a beautiful potted Pink Hydrangea plant at Publix grocery store the day before the wedding to use the fresh cut blooms as the floral decoration for my head table.

Entry/Place Card Table Décor: I bought the 3 votive candle holders and placed votive candles in them for the entry table, as well as bought two large clear vases and "curly willow" branches...then Aunt Debbie (our florist) added flowers for a beautiful accent. We also purchased our place cards from Party City, and printed and assembled them ourselves.

What advice do you have for other brides? Enjoy every single minute of your special day, it goes by SO very fast! In order to do this my husband and I chose to break tradition and take photos together before the ceremony. This way we got most of our photos done before hand so we could enjoy our guests during cocktail hour and not miss anything!! Also, DON'T WORRY! I know that's easier said than done sometimes, however let all of your months of hard work shine through. Selecting wedding vendors whom you feel comfortable with, and whom you can trust made all the difference in the world. I didn't have to worry about a thing! And, I told myself the morning of my wedding that no matter what I was going to enjoy the day and marry the love of my life come rain or shine (literally)!
