If you don’t have snow


in your backyard please believe me that there is snow at your favorite re- sort! Downhill skiing and riding on a mixture of man-made snow and nat- ural snow is wonderful. Nordic centers at high- er elevations have been blessed this winter too. Check out the snow con- ditions report and then jump in your car and have some fun. Don’t let your backyard trick you into being a couch potato! Charlie and I had a


great time at Great Glen Trails cross-country ski- ing. Great Glen Trails is located in Pinkham Notch, at the base of the famous Mount Washington Auto Road. Not only do they have fabulously groomed and tracked trails for cross-country skiing, they have 45ks of snowshoe and 20ks of backcountry skiing trails. Plus, they have a wonderful lodge complete with a full ser- vice ski shop and the Glen View Cafe.
