The Club has a thriving Junior Section whose ages range from 6 to 15 so youngsters will be most welcome and, for those over 60, the Club has very active Men and Ladies Senior Sections. As sports go, golf is far from the most strenuous but research shows that, for all age groups, golf appears to have significant health benefits. Tavistock Golf Club is very fortunate in having a first class professional whose up-to-date teaching techniques can take your game to a new level. Under his expert tuition newcomers to the game will have the best possible grounding. But there is more to Tavistock Golf Club than just golf! The Club has much to offer the non-golfer. Social members have always played an important part in the activities of the Club. Some are ex-golfers, but with the club’s reputation for being active and friendly, many join to enjoy the good food and excellent social life.
