Blue Chip shortlisted for prestigious award
IT specialist and VMware consultant Blue Chip has been shortlisted as Partner of the Year for VMware’s ’Virtual Partner Network (VPN)’ Award.
Hosted by VMware the annual event recognises and thanks industry partners who have contributed to the success and growth of the leader in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure solutions over the past year.
Anthony Green, sales director at Blue Chip, said: “Virtualisation has been a key focus for Blue Chip over recent years, specifically for the excellent benefits it extends to our customers. Making the shortlist is recognition of our hard work and the credence we attach to virtualisation. The award is given on the basis of revenue of growth by percentage, technical and sales accreditations over the past year, and the success of seminars hosted in conjunction with VMware for the benefit of partner customers – all areas in which we have excelled in the past 12 months.“

Blue Chip also boasts 95% of its sales team as VMware certified professionals, demonstrating its commitment to ensuring the team is fully prepared
with the necessary information and experience to identify VMware opportunities, and offer the latest advice and product recommendations wherever possible.

The Winchester Hotel has been acquired by Quantum Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of private family company, Carnarvon Hotels, which has been successfully operating hotels at three, four and five-star levels for more than 50 years. With prestigious properties including The Rathbone Hotel in London’s Fitzrovia and The Collingham Apartments in South Kensington, The Winchester Hotel provided the perfect opportunity for the company to expand outside of London.
