The Pikes Peak Velo Cycling Club has been putting on races in Colorado Springs for decades. In November of 2011, they hurdled the barriers in a cross-race at the Rock Ledge Ranch.
It was sunny and breezy and very well attended.
Included in the fun was a SuperCross Kids Race organized in part by Kid’s On Bikes.
The word is still out on the date for the 2012 race, possibly in September this year, but there are talks of a cross-race series in the mix, so keep your eyeballs on this one.
