Tri-Lakes Time Trial
The race is May 5, tentatively starting at 8 a.m. with citizens divisions and then progress to the ACA race divisions, starting with juniors. Registration and parking will be at Palmer Lake.
The TT will start approx 200 meters up Hwy 105 (from the Lake). It will proceed north on HWY 105 (approx 5.5 miles) to W Fox Farm Road where riders would take a right on to W Fox Farm road. Stay on Fox Farm Rd (approx 2.5 miles) to S Spruce Mtn road. Riders would take the right on to S Spruce Mtn road where they will begin the final 6 miles. The race will end approx 400 meters before reaching the outskirts of Palmer Lake (there is a nice turnout where we will park the ACA timing/results trailer).
The course should be especially attractive to non-mountain
goats and triathletes looking for challenging terrain, picturesque scenery and great roads. But it’s not flat: The TT will be approx. 14.2 miles and would feature 704 feet of elevation gain and 744 feet of elevation loss.
