The USGPS is an International track cycling event that is on the UCI International Track Calendar. The focus of the USGPS are the fastest events in cycling – Sprint, Team Sprint & Keirin.
Teams from Australia, Canada, Colombia, Germany, The Netherlands, Trinidad, Venezuela and the U.S. will be using the USGPS as the final tune up event prior to the London Olympic Games.
NATIONAL TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS
July 31 – August 5, 2012
A six-day event held annually to determine the best cyclists in age group racing. Age categories are broken into 5-year groups and begin at 35- 39 and run through 70+.
400 cyclists, their supporters and families, are expected to stay the week in Colorado Springs. Competitors will come from all parts of the country in an attempt to win the coveted stars and stripes jerseys that designate U.S. Champions!
