Bike for Hope laid it all out last year with this inaugural event. CASA is a non-profit in Colorado Springs that benefits children in need. These are children who have been abused or neglected. CASA ensures children a safe environment and a lasting home. Like all non-profits, CASA relies heavily on fundraising events.
Bike for Hope:
The main ride: Start in Colorado Springs and finish in Victor, a 40 mile ride with the route on Old Gold Camp Road and Old Stage Road (new start location).
The second option: Start in Colorado Springs and go to the half-way point at Rosemont Reservoir, which is a tough 20 mile ride due to the incline of 5- 7%, but the shuttle to Victor will ease sore muscles.
The third option starts at Rosemont Reservoir and finishes in Victor. This is the easiest option, while still 20 miles, the incline is closer to 3-5%, but the scenery is 100%.
Registration rate: $85 by the end of June, $95.00 thereafter with student rates at $50.
There are many opportunities for fundraising at any level and prizes for top earners.
