Quesada Focus One Stroke Painting


With the festive season now well and truly over and with the winter months ahead, what better time to think about a new hobby.


There are many people who say to me that they would love to be able to paint but don’t feel they have the skill to do it. One Stroke painting technique has been developed for exactly that reason. One Stroke was developed in America by Donna Dewberry, who as a busy mother of seven did not have the time to go to classes. Her technique is now widely taught and used all over the USA and the UK, by both men and women. Having learned this technique I wanted to pass my skills on to others to enjoy here in Spain, I went to the USA and spent time with Donna Dewberry and then to the UK to take the teaching course, and now love to teach others this unique way to paint. It is a truly beautiful way to paint and so much easier to learn than traditional painting. You do not need to be able to draw or have any painting experience to learn this technique and it is great fun too. It is also very versatile and you can create your very own items, such as greetings cards, candles, pots for the patio, glassware, tiles and so much more. You can, of course, create lovely canvas paintings within a reasonably short time. My classes are very informal with a maximum of six students, this way I can give everyone as much individual attention as they need. At present I hold classes on Friday mornings from 10am to 12 noon and Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm, I can also do a Friday afternoon class from 2pm to 4pm. So why not come along and give it a try. All equipment is supplied for the classes and anything you paint is yours to take home with you.


I will also be doing several demonstrations over the next few weeks at various clubs as follows: - 28th January at Campoverde, 2nd February at Quesada Bowls Club, 22nd February at the Emerald Isle and 14th March at Campoverde.
