FWC LOGO
Still non-members are continuing to mislead the general public by illegally displaying the FWC membership logo. This is a breach of Trading Standards who give their full support on such matters.
The FWC continues to contact these companies who illegally display the FWC logo; many of whom do so unintentionally and are happy to renew their annual membership with us. While others deliberately evade paying annual membership and blatantly display the FWC logo on their vehicles, website and stationery.

Please help to eliminate misuse of the FWC logo by notifying the FWC of anyone you think we should check out. The correct Registered Membership logo is displayed ABOVE LEFT with the word MEMBER beneath it.
WEBSITE FACILITIES
The FWC website facility; “find a window cleaner” receives many customer enquiries for registered member services. See examples comments below:
‘I wonder if you could supply a list of your registered members located in the postcode area of NN4 and who are capable of undertaking solar panel cleaning.’
‘we are a Housing Association, in South Lincolnshire and we are looking to send out tender documents for window cleaning do you have specialist commercial window cleaning companies with your organisation that might be more suitable?’
FWC standard procedure for giving out member’s company details is to select 3-4 members closest to the enquirer for domestic - who in turn select their choice. For commercial tenders etc we provide all paid-up and insured members in the area requested. Since January 2011 Domestic Window Cleaner requests were received for the following areas: AL, BD, BL, SP, PE, EH, DA, IG, WA, SA, SW, SS, SL, SW, SY, SE, SP, SN, SK,CV,NN, PO, PR, HP, NG, TA, M33, M4, OL, CH, HP, EN, IP, CT, CR, KT, RM, NG, GU, TN, OX Commercial requests received for: PE, SS, SO, OX, NG, NN, M4, B1,2,3,4, TN.

CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP
New membership certificates are not normally issued automatically on renewal of membership; but should any members require an updated PDF or hard copy please do not hesitate to ask .
MEMBERSHIP IDENTITY CARDS
Unless otherwise requested; membership cards are usually issued with a photograph previously held on file. Please note: good quality jpeg images are essential for presentation. Passport size photo’s are also acceptable.
