Dear ShowBiz, I am going to miss Snip! He was my best

friend when mom would bring me down to ride leadline and he was by my name. I hope you get another one soon so I have one to ride now. Did he get buried somewhere so I can go visit him, I am sure my mom will drive me. And I did what you said and laughed at the stars before I went to bed one night so he could hear me and know we remember him. I miss him! Thank you

Dear ShowBiz, What an amazing place Barb

Ellison has! The pictures are almost unbelievable and Oregon is lucky to have her build it there. Crown Af- fair is the stallion I plan to breed to this next season, and while I am sad to see him retire it will put my mind at ease for the breeding process for my mare. I’ll send pictures when it hits the ground in 2013.

Dear ShowBiz, I picked up your magazine at the LA horse show Grand Prix. My

family goes every year to watch. I used to ride jumpers but got married, had a family, got hurt and now have limited time to see the sport I enjoy. I am lucky, my wife and son enjoy it almost as much as I do. The picture spread on page 68 of the last issue was really interesting. We will never know how horses get us out of messes without us thinking. That saying you ended the article with, “Betwixt the stirrup and ground, mercy I asked and mercy I found,” was in just about all of Judy Spreckles old Horses magazines and it brought back memories. ShowBiz has done a good job filing her shoes! Please send me a subscription right away.

FROM OUR READERS

Dear ShowBiz, I saw the photos of Thermal and all the greenery, looks amazing. I also saw where HITS has added a bunch of new stalls

and dropped their charges a bit. Got to give it to Struzzieri and the crew, we seem to be headed to a new relationship. My hats off to them for listening and making some things happen. Hans, in your article, is an asset to the place and I am glad he is having fun and overseeing it all. He is always pleasant and helpful, wish I could have one like him for my own place.
