“The MSc in International Management at Bath seemed to me the most suitable among all of the other programmes I looked at. I’ve found the subjects covered not only extremely interesting but essential for my future career. The study facilities provided at the University are fantastic! The library is open 24 hours and you have unlimited access to different books, science articles, journals, detailed company profiles along with spacious study areas. Moreover, the atmosphere itself really motivates you to keep progressing.
The lecturers are extremely friendly and provided assistance when it was required. I really enjoyed the teaching methods applied on my programme as we considered and analysed the difficulties that companies face by operating in the global environment.
After a day of intensive study there is always an opportunity to go to the parties or other events organised by the University. While studying here I’ve met many friends from different countries and have experienced a very multicultural environment.
I have also enjoyed being in the city of Bath with its stunning parks and nice streets to walk around. Also, Bath is just 1.5 hours from London, which makes it very accessible.
I believe that the experience I have gained while studying here will give me a competitive advantage amongst others applying for a job. I have developed particular skills which are recognised and accepted internationally. This will enable me to work not only in Asian countries but in the UK or in Europe.
The programme structure helped me to develop the global mindset which I believe is one of the crucial elements for managers planning to work in multinational organisations. Furthermore I improved my analytical skills and critical thinking.
After graduation I will go back to my home country, Kazakhstan, where I hope to build my career.”
