Meet our graduates
Natalie Wippel, MSc in Innovation and Technology Management graduate
I studied for two years in Germany and another two years in Spain to gain my Bachelor’s degree. Because of the economical situation at that time, and the fact that German companies were asking for students who studied in the UK, I decided to do a Master’s here.
“ Before coming to the UK
The programme is perfect in combining engineering with the management of a company. Graduates from the programme act as an agent between the two extremes. Even though the programme is still new I was persuaded of its merit from the very beginning.
Bath was the right decision for me. The city is one of the most beautiful in the UK – small but plenty to see and do. And when the time allows, you can make use of the excellent sports facilities and enjoy the varied nightlife.

I really enjoyed the excursion to Rolls Royce which was arranged by our programme director. Around 15 managers spent their whole day entirely with us to present the company and its manufacturing. At the end of the day they opened up to questioning. For me this day was unique!
I am not sure in which country I will work when I graduate. Maybe in the UK, or Spain, or perhaps I will go back to Germany. It depends on the company. For example I’m really interested in Deloitte but also Airbus who I’m writing my dissertation on. Airbus has a headquarters in Bristol but also in Bremen where I am from. In either case I will certainly use the network which I have built up during my studies at the University of Bath.
