EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR San Diego Gay Men's Chorus


Now in its 26th season, the 150-voice San Diego Gay Men's Chorus is hiring its first Executive Director. This amazing opportunity to build your own position is ideal for someone familiar with the arts community, a passion for music and social justice, and a proven track record in nonprofit management.


Purpose of Position: The Executive Director manages, maintains, and develops long-term planning and vision in the areas of finance, marketing, fund development and community engagement.


Skills: Strong background in non-profit management or equivalent experience; proven success in individual donor cultivation and development; grant-writing; marketing and social networking, strong written and verbal communication.


Time commitment: 80% FTE salaried position.


Mission: To create a positive musical experience through exciting performances which engage our audiences, build community support and provide a dynamic force for social change.


Compensation: $33,000-$36,000 depending on experience.
