SAN DIEGO WOMEN’S CHORUS: HEAVEN & EARTH The San Diego Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Christopher Allen, pres-

ents its 24th Annual Winter concert Heaven & Earth to celebrate the human con- nections to both the heavens and earth. This reflective, heartfelt and sometimes downright silly holiday concert includes old and new favorites by Annie Lennox, Melissa Etheridge, Eric Clapton and Katy Perry. Inspired by the Serbian proverb “Be humble for you are made of earth; be noble for you are made of stars.” Song selections include “When You Wish Upon A Star,” “A Prayer for Peace,” “Universal Child,” “Firework,” “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” “Mr. Santa,” “Tears in Heaven” and “Heaven on Earth.” The San Diego Women’s Chorus 24th Annual Winter Concert is on Saturday, December 10, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 11, at 3 p.m. at the Mission Hills United Church of Christ, 4070 Jackdaw Street in Mission Hills.
