Medal glory for Hayes youngster


BROMLEY bounced to medal glory at the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games trampoline finals, which took place at the National Sports Centre, Crystal Palace in June. Over 100 young trampolinists from all over London took part in the prestigious city-wide event. Hayes School student Darren George, 15, pictured, won


silver in the boys’ individual event for the borough, which claimed a team bronze this year. Team Manager Jane Richmond was delighted with the


team’s success. She said: “They did really well, last year they won the event so to come back and finish in the top three again is really good.”
