A summer show to remember


THE Hayes Horticultural Summer Show, held on July 9 at the Hayes Village Hall, was a great success, with exhibits of fruit, flowers and vegetables as well as a variety of photographs and homemade provisions.


The society was


formed in 1892 when Hayes cottagers held a small impromptu flower show. The Hayes Cottage Gardeners’
