Douglas Partners Pty Ltd is a leading geotechnical, environmental and groundwater consulting firm employing over 350 people in 14 offices throughout Australia. In 2007 and 2008, we won the prestigious BRW Client Choice Award for best consulting engineering firm in our category.
Due to continued economic growth in Australia, we are seeking various professional staff to assist with an increasing workload and client base in many of our offices. In addition, we are seeking to appoint staff to establish a new office in Gladstone, Queensland.
The people we are seeking will have professional qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, and Hydrogeology, and have more than five years experience. In addition, candidates should have experience in business development and a high level of oral and written communication skills. The full duties will be discussed in the interview but will include site investigation, supervision of graduate staff, design and analysis and preparation of proposals and technical reports.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be sufficient to attract candidates of the highest quality. We are also committed to offering shares to key staff members after a qualifying period. Additional benefits include five weeks annual leave after five years service, bonuses, contribution to retirement plan equal to 9-12% of salary, paid study leave, long service leave after 10 years and sabbatical leave after 15 years.
