relax, work, hang-out, entertain, hide, impress, eat great food and drink excellent wine and cocktails, surrounded by like-minded souls. Regular events see a host of big name speakers including the likes of Tony Hayward, Willie Walsh and Michael Lynch.
The 10 year birthday bash was an opportunity for staff and members to reflect on a sensational first decade, with a relaxed and chilled out start to the evening before those in attendance let their hair down for the big party. James Minter the founder of Adam Street, reflected on the successes and
shared experiences that come with running an entrepreneurial members, ‘In a lot of cases we’ve been there for the whole journey. We’ve got some fantastic success stories behind us. We’ve had businesses and babies born out of Adam Street! Many businesses wouldn’t be here but for Adam Street and the relationships which were forged here. We’ve watched business born and grow and our members grow in experience and success.”
Reflecting on the journey James is candid- “the first 3 years were tough going and there were plenty of near
death successes but fast forward a few years and we were hosting the Duran Duran Brit Awards party where we were the official venue for the A-Listers.”
What then does the next decade hold for the Club, “we’ve got two or three exciting projects coming up over the next few years. Some are top secret but I’d like to do something with some fiction writers around the ‘Adam Street Stories- Tales from the Vaults’ a series of short stories about all the amazing thing that go on down here.
