Jeanne Keaton, Past President of the Florida Federation of

Fairs visits with the Belle City Amusement group during her trip to the Nebraska State Fair. Left to right—Charles Panacek, Miss Mary (Panacek), Jeanne, and Nick Viscomi.

By Jeanne Keaton I had a great time meeting new friends and visiting old friends

this summer while attending the Orange County Fair in Los An- geles and Nebraska State Fair. LA was a new experience for me. The traffic is unreal and it certainly is a different atmos- phere than we are used too. I arrived on the last weekend so there were no animal displays but they had beautiful gardens of both fruits and vegetable and landscaping foliage. I have never seen so many booths in one Fair in my life. Now Nebraska was more like home for me. Small town and

BIG fairgrounds. The NSF relocated to a new grounds 2 years ago and is absolutely beautiful. I don’t think I have ever seen so many llamas and sheep in one place before. Beautiful build- ings and beautiful displays filled the 200 acre site. It was nice to visit with the Belle City group and we had lots of fun. Looking forward to our “Fall Fair Season” and for those get-

ting ready….. best of weather to you all. Looking forward to Florida visits!!!
