Businesses will be able to set up their own Groups in Love
Dartmouth, where they can reach current and potential new customers. They can publish news, write blogs, start forum discussions, and announce special offers. In fact they can do everything they do on Facebook, but it can now be targeted at a very specific audience of people who either live and work in the Dartmouth/South Hams area, or who visit - second home owners and tourists - ie well-qualified customers, who have a real interest in local business. Businesses like Browns Hotel & Restaurant can now invite all their existing customers into Love Dartmouth for free. Customers will enjoy chatting with online friends, sharing photos and having their say.
Browns Hotel & Restaurant loves Love Dartmouth:
“Love Dartmouth allows you to easily let your community know what you are doing and is a highly effective way to manage a dialogue with your customers.” - James Brown
LOVE DARTMOUTH - OPEN FOR BUSINESS
ove Dartmouth, the new social network for people who live, work in or visit Dartmouth, Kingswear and the South Hams has taken off to a flying start, with just under 300 registered members and more joining every day, sharing photos and ideas with online friends. Founder, Carole Hart-Fletcher says, “We plan to recruit 1,000 members by the end of the year and then many more, so that Love Dartmouth members will become a significant group with an influential voice on local issues. The network will also be a place where local businesses can reach out to active local people.” Love Dartmouth is free for individuals, charities and community groups. Now, with the help of partners By The Dart, we are able to offer valuable subscription services to local businesses.
L
Each Business member will also have an enhanced entry in the Love Dartmouth/By The Dart Business & Community Directory - online and in the directory. Businesses will be able to make exclusive special offers to all members. Restaurant Angelique loves Love Dartmouth:
“Love Dartmouth has been a fantastic way to keep in touch with the Dartmouth & South Hams community. We understand what is going on locally, what is topical and it allows us to offer special promotions to local and regional residents. It’s an easy to use website which is more intimate and friendlier than
some of the larger well-known social networking sites.” - Rowena of Angelique
Proprietors will also be able to join an exclusive Love
Dartmouth online club called The Biz - aimed at providing a supportive forum for local business leaders. If you would like your business featured in Love
