We are a WI-FI Zone. Individuals with properly configured computers have access to high- speed wireless internet in the library.
Library Website The library’s website,
www.lincolnwoodlibrary. org, makes several of the library’s information resources available around the clock through the internet. These resources include databases that contain newspaper and magazine articles, Encyclopedia Brittanica, book reviews, and the extremely helpful educational service, Homework HelpNow powered by Brainfuse, through which students can interact on line and in real time with knowledgeable tutors. Patrons can connect to Homework HelpNow through the Homework Help buttons on both the Kids Page and the Teen Scene Page of the website. Our latest electronic resource addition is Mango Languages. Mango is an online language learning system to help users learn languages such as Spanish, French, Japanese, Brazilian, Chinese, Greek, Russian, etc. Up-to-date information about the community, local legislators, the library and library programs and events, and the Friends of the Library can also be found on the website.
