FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK The “Annual Art Issue” of Pulse Magazine SWFL is always one

of my favorites. The team had a great time reviewing the portfolios of many local artists, collaborating with other creative minds in town, and ultimately narrowing down an abundance of talent to the final selection of artists featured on these pages. This year we went in a different direction, focusing on artists

working in unique, more non-traditional mediums. Surprisingly, finding such individuals wasn’t as challenging as one might think... from duct tape to body paint, artists in Southwest Florida are putting their originality on display! In addition to art, Pulse really got into the Halloween spirit

this year. The fashion pages showcase five looks inspired by five classic horror movies and supernatural characters. This shoot was an artistic endeavor in itself, resulting in eight pages of photographic wizardry and special effects unlike anything we’ve ever done before... hope you love it! Finally, a big thanks to the many inspired individuals who

contributed to this issue and also to the local businesses choosing to spend their marketing dollars with Pulse. We ask our readers to please consider our advertisers first because without their support, this magazine would not be possible. Enjoy the fall season, the amazing cooler weather, and this

issue! - Pamela Lazarto Pulse Magazine SWFL | 3 Taryn Alford Keith Isaac Jerry Krecicki
