Michael Serrano
Michael Serrano, director of IT at East Harlem Council for Human Services Inc., is the national chief information officer of the National Latino Alliance on Health Information Technology. Serrano is also chief technical officer at The Center for Communal Photo- synthesis Research. Previously he was a supervisor at North Shore LIJ Health System and at the Continuum Health Part- ners, where he also worked as operations manager. Since 2006, most of his professional work has encompassed network infrastructure and design along with leading an electronic medical record project.
