INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MIGHT BE THE PERFECT INDUSTRY by Editors

editors@ccgmag.com

nformation Technology has grown in the recent years as industries depend upon technology to conduct their many tasks and responsibilities. Not only does the use of technology save on gas since it needs less travel expense to conduct online confer- ences, technology also saves on time and money as well. As you will see, time has offered much for industries yet technology offered more.

I

Information technology speeds up every- thing, and is easily accessible on so many levels. From the health care industry to the gas transporting industry, plus every industry in between. Information technology is key to good business, filing and transporting of important information comes with many benefits.

During the seventies, technology was build- ing as even Bill Gates decided to call a guy in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his idea of the newly developed program called ‘Microsoft’. Funny truth of the matter is that Bill Gates did not even have the program created yet and the fellow from Albuquer- que bought the idea of ‘Microsoft’ thinking

it had already been created. Bill then put his head in high speed and created Microsoft shortly after and sent it to the man. Micro- soft was born bringing a whole new world of technology for that was also the birth of the first personal computer. Industries back then used technology of computers yet when Mr. Gates presented the business and industry world to easier access through this way of technology, they fell in love with this form of information technology.

With the many ways information can be carried out through technology, it reflects the future of technology. Technological growth is occurring daily as new gadgets, electronics and other forms of technological instruments are created each year. From cell phones to text messaging, communication is easier with technology as information is passed more ways than one.

Imagine sitting at a quiet location, as your patients need you. You have no assistant walking over to you to tell you what the patient needs, no office to be in for it is your day off. Then all of the sudden you hear a beeping sound. You look down and on the screen you see the words ‘Mrs. Apple needs a refill on her arthritis medication’. You then simply take your little pen and push a couple little squares on your PDF and as fast as you read the mes- sage, a new refill had been

called in. You never had to call a soul.

My doctor uses one of these as she showed me how she used her mini hand held com- puter. A prescription, some medical terms, along with so many functions, her answers were right at her fingertips. She tapped in the prescription without calling anyone or pulling out any information pamphlet. This only took a total of less than two minutes to complete. It is amazing how information technology offered the medical industry such luxuries for better and faster service to better care for patients.

Information technology might be the per- fect industry since not only does the medical industry use it, technology proves beneficial through usage. Some may question this yet perhaps they have not experienced the benefits just as of yet. In time they may see that information technology is a great com- munication device within industries, along with help managing the industries from the inside out. With this said, this can most likely result in the most perfect way for an industry to take care of business, through informa- tion technology.

Alas, not forgotten, the perfect industry is defined by the measures of it’s pocket. Get- ting the word out whether email, phone, text message, or letter, brings in potential clients. This was seen in the Barack Obama Vice-Presidential pick. Presidential Candidate Barack Obama asked his supporters to wait for a text message which offered his Vice- Presidential pick. There were three reports prior to the pick was announced.

According to CNN, there where some text messages with the wrong name prior to the announcement of the V-P pick. But the trick of technology and being Barack Obama, is gaining as much support as one can possibly gather. He now has an enormous list of people to send information about the 2012 Presidential Race. Even though I am pulling for John McCain, the Obama squad reached new heights with this popular way of gathering potential clients (voters). Per- haps Mr. McCain will use the text messaging method as well. Information technology as a business reflects much growth, it’s a perfect compliment to any growing business, big and small.
