FRANCIS DUNNERY CHOOSES TANGLEWOOD GUITARS FOR FORTHCOMING TOUR

In a surprising turn of events, for Jamiroquai bassist Nick Fyffe recently filled in for the poorly Roger Glover on Deep Purple’s 2011 European Tour. The bassist ended up playing ten shows with Purple, selecting his favourite Yamaha BB2024X bass as his instrument of choice. 10 3pickup

Acclaimed singer songwriter, Francis Dunnery, made a personal visit to Tanglewood Guitars this month to come and hand pick a selection of acoustic guitars for his forthcoming tour. The British born musician, who originally fronted pop/fusion band It Bites during the 1980s, selected the Masterdesign by Sanden TSR2 model and a Sundance Historic TW40SDVSE. According to Francis, his choice was an easy one, his new Tanglewood guitars were selected on the strength of their great tones and outstanding build-quality. Tanglewood UK are obviously very pleased with this ringing endorsement from one of the 80s most respected guitarists. Dan Reeks, Marketing Manager at Tanglewood commented, ‘Francis is very much welcomed into the Tanglewood family of players and will help reinforce the quality & credibility of our instruments in the professional fraternity.’ PM
