Flights Scheduled Carriers
Due to our specially negotiated fares with major scheduled airlines we can offer the best services at the best possible price. However, please note that airlines control the number of seats available on any fl ight. Therefore, should no such seat be available on a given departure when you enquire, we may be able to offer additional seats on the same fl ight at a supplement. We will advise you of the supplement at the time of booking. Most scheduled airlines offer free snacks and drinks and 20kg of baggage – please ask for details.
Low Cost Carriers
In order to give our clients a wider choice of departure airports, and in some cases the chance to save money, we offer fl ights with low cost carriers. These carriers differentiate themselves by the level of service they provide, i.e. no free food and drinks onboard and no pre-bookable seating. In addition, most of these carriers require full payment immediately and tickets will be non-refundable. Any permitted changes may incur an additional charge. Please enquire at time of booking about available services, discounts and supplements.
Direct & Indirect Services
There are direct services to destinations from some regional airports. Should this not be possible we can offer very attractive add-on rates via other points in the UK and the continent. Please contact us for rates or check your travel dates on
www.dertour.co.uk for the current supplement. Many airlines now co-operate with other airlines. ‘Code-sharing’ means that you are booked on one airline, but the fl ight is checked-in and operated by another airline. If this is the case, your itinerary will
give you the exact details. Some Scottish fl ights require a change of aircraft. They could however be, classed as direct fl ights because the same fl ight number is maintained all the way through the journey.
Airline Documents
The majority of scheduled airlines have replaced conventional paper tickets with e-tickets, where the booking details are stored electronically on the host airline’s system.
To check-in, simply go to the check-in desk as normal and show your passport as identifi cation along with the booking reference number that we provide. This information is suffi cient for the airline to issue a boarding pass for your fl ight. As the airlines favour this method, there is no extra charge for etickets.
However, a request for a paper ticket (if at all possible) will incur a charge set by the airline.
Airport Security
Due to the ever changing security situation at airports, we advise our passengers to check the security regulations before they travel. We recommend checking the website
www.baa.com or the airline carrier. This could save time at the airport in case of carrying a prohibited item.
Flights Schedules
Airline schedules are subject to change, but we will advise any changes to the itinerary of over one hour. We recommend, due to heightened security measures, that passengers check-in at least two hours prior to your departure, as we cannot be held responsible for a missed fl ight.

Make more of the airport experience Check in Online
In these days of increased security it is important to arrive at the airport early in order to try to ensure a stress free trip. Most airlines now allow online check in with 23 hours of the departure time. This allows passengers to book their preferred seat and head straight for baggage drop at the airport.
Airport Hotels/Parking If travelling early in the morning why risk the chance of missing the fl ight? We can book a number of airport hotels which often include free parking. Please ask us for a quote when booking the holiday. We can also arrange pre-booked Airport parking.
Airport Lounges From as little as £15 per person relax in the peace of an airport lounge. Most lounges offer free snacks, drinks and newspapers. It’s a chance to get away from the crowded terminal concourses and access is allowed up to three hours prior. Prices are subject to available on request.
Business Class Why not upgrade to Business Class? We can offer competitive rates for upgrades from economy to business class.
