July and August are the best time to visit the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, when the weather for exploring the endless cultural highlights is per- fect, far away from mass tourism but nevertheless in one of the most stunning cities in East Europe.
Istanbul

Athens and Salonika

Thessaloniki is the hometown of some of Greece’s greatest musicians, artists, poets and thinkers. The city in Northern Greece, which is more than 3000 years old, has a multitude of churches and monasteries, along with other great sites and several exceptional beaches next to the city.
