INDULGENCES outrageous by daisy torres & jessica d’nalga Daisy: It was definitely a special night and our new Bebe dresses were hot—always

representing Rage in red. Jessica: We know how to WERK! Bebe sure does know how to show off our best at-

tributes…. the curves, and thanks for coming with me to my baby! With so much happening in July we have to put June to bed, with some cucumber

slices on its eyes, to recharge for the upcoming month. You know what this month is all about…San Diego Pride! Apart from the parade and festival there are plenty of special events happening and we want to make sure you have the 411 on all of them. Friday, July 15 kicks things off for us with the annual Rob Benzon Foundation Party,

at the Historic Burham House in Hillcrest. Tickets start at $35 and with food and drinks, you definitely get your money’s worth. Not to mention getting to mingle with the gay community’s movers and shakers. For information, check out robbenzon.org Daisy: Let the shopping begin! I tell you, the malls love us. So many events to attend

and a girl needs a new outfit for every one of them—Sometimes even two or three! Another tradition during Pride weekend, are the infamous parties presented by Bill

Hardt. He has an event every day of the weekend including the Zoo Party that takes over our world famous San Diego Zoo. A must-attend for all the boys and girls who want to bring out their animal inside. Every other event has a theme: there is a pool party, a circuit party and the Pride ball. For tickets and information about all of them go to billhardtpresents.com Jessica: I think I’m going to be a snow leopard, since I’m a little feisty. Daisy: Ha, if you’re going for feisty you should be a honey badger, because “honey badger don’t give a sh*t!” As for me, I will be a cute and sexy chinchilla—except of course I won’t be wearing real chinchilla fur, because that would be cruel. Sunday of Pride weekend, we are off to the W hotel for the Remedy Pool Party and

the VIP launch of GuySpy, a new way for sexy guys to connect by phone or online. This event is hosted by Chi Chi LaRue and will feature plenty of San Diego’s sexiest men, so you won’t want to miss it. Check out guyspy.com and get connected today. Daisy: Hotties here we come! I wont forget sunscreen this time, last year I burned all

weekend. I might be Latina but this girl burns! Jessica: Baby that’s because you’re so fragile! Oh well, maybe we can scoop up a man

for you….better get into that one-piece girl. Since we only have one page to comment on all the happenings we don’t want

DAISY AND JESSICA’S

to forget the local clubs and bars that have a Pride lineup also. Eden is preparing a Wicked, Sexy, Fun weekend so be sure to hit them up (bottle service is always fun, ask for Jonathan. He will take care of you guys).

It will also be a great spot to watch the ADVENTURES Here we are in the middle of summer, with a margarita in hand, getting our tans

evened out thanks to the boys at AZ Heat Tanning—just in time for San Diego Pride. This year is going by so quickly! As with most months, our June was filled with fun events and your July should be

the same. All you have to do is check the pages of Rage and our Calendar of Events to find out about the hot events, galas, fundraisers, and night life happenings around our fair city. Last month was all about galas—we got our mascot Ruby all dolled up and headed to Fiesta del Paws fundraising event. We look forward to this event every year, it’s a chance for us to get pretty and Ruby gets her chance to mingle with all the “A-list” pooches...she’s kind of a social climbing b*tch! She also loves all the free treats she gets and we get some “treats” of our own—of the two-legged variety. Woof-woof! Jessica: Ruby was the perfect excuse to start a conversation with the owners of the dogs she was mingling with and sniffing. That particular day was a busy one for us. As soon as Fiesta del Paws was over we zipped home to change into our sexy outfits for the Human Dignity Foundation Gala at Anthology. The dinner was amazing and the entertainment was an ABBA tribute band and so much fun! The Human Dignity Foundation is another worthy organization that does a great deal for our community.

parade while you eat, drink and stay in the shade. Daisy: I want to dress like Elphaba from Wicked, but how can I kiss a guy with all that

green make up on me? Jessica: I’ll stick with the sexy part, maybe wear a short dress and some cute shoes. Daisy: Jessica are you going to The Card Party? Jessica: Which one? When? Daisy: There will be an exclusive party for all hospitality industry people on July 12.

The Card is doing a big launch party during San Diego Pride. You’ve got to go get The Card so you can go to the hottest events. Jessica: But how are you going to go? You are not industry... Daisy: Yes I am. I perform. I am a star lol. And it is not just for industry people, it is also

for all the businesses in Hillcrest and those who support our community. We should definitely go. More info is available on the website: thecardsd.com Also dont miss our special performance on July 13 at the Brass Rail to celebrate our

sister Barbarah’s Birthday Bash. It will be a fun time for sure. Curtain time is at 10 p.m.! Pride is about coming together to celebrate our diversity, but it’s also about getting

involved. So even as you party, don’t forget to grab some information during the festi- val about local organizations that need your help and support. Please don’t drink and drive...and keep it together, bitches!
