ANGELICA OSBORNE Angelica Osborne is a mommy, a screen- writer, an actress, a columnist writing the “Fruit Fly” for The Rage Monthly, a youth counselor and was voted runner-up as “Most Inspirational Speaker” in TLC’s show, The Messengers. Her story, “Thank God I Found my Orgasm!” was just published and takes incestual dysfunction and transforms it into empowered sexuality.
DAVID VERA Combining his two passions of cooking and correcting people’s English, David studies journalism and culinary science. With works published since 2004, he has contributed and edited content for The Rage Monthly since 2009. He is graduating from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California—San Diego with a degree in Culinary Arts.
BILL BISS A gay press maven with 14 years of pub- lished work under his belt, Bill Biss exempli- fies the rare fusion of writing and design talent. Currently a contributing writer to The Rage Monthly, Bill has worn many hats in the LGBT media—from art director to editor in chief. His passion lies in providing informative, engaging articles with lateral appeal that are relevant to the past, present and future.
DENNIS COVEY Dennis has an extensive photographic history of capturing models for commercial catalog, fashion and figure studies—a process of sculpting with light, resulting in two-dimensional imagery. WILLIAM (BILL) E. KELLY MA Central Michigan University; five years. USAF, Bank Turst Officer; entrepreneur; S.D. non-profit boards and committees; politi- cal activist, published writer and artist. Vari- ous community leadership roles. Favorite word: Synergism.
JIM ZIANS Jim Zians, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist. He is currently the Project Director of The Edge Research Project and The Fastlane Research Project at UCSD. Dr. Zians is also a part- time instructor at SDSU and at the Alliant University, California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego.
BLAKE BECKCOM Blake Beckcom is a lifestyle and fitness expert who combines his experience and love of people as he offers highly personal- ized exercise and nutrition advice in written word and as a trainer at Fitness Together, his Mission Hills studio.
JOEL MARTENS Joel Martens is what he likes to call a “Renaissance man.” His varied career has encompassed many evolutions: hotel clerk/ cleaner, grocery stock-boy, dishwasher, logger, truck driver, landscaper/gardener, waiter, bartender, floral arranger, caterer, event planner, actor, singer, TV commenta- tor, interior designer, writer and currently editor—just to name a few. Life is a glorious experiment, and he loves to play at it!
