iprize released a single produced by GaryMarx to great press reviews but sadly we didn’t have the right business acumen and folded leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth and thoroughly disillusioned with music, then......

After a long time out of the music business I ran into Andy who had moved back to Yorkshire having spent several years in London, We decided to put together an acoustic duo for fun, taking the music right back to its roots. 2 guitars and 2 voices in harmony! We put together a set of classic covers ( or so we thought) and headed out to the pubs and clubs! Big mistake! The Clubs hated us and most of the pubs we played wanted rock covers bands. Back to square one! After much soul searching we decided to write our own material and just enjoy ourselves. We recruited Bass player Mark Sadler and recorded our Debut album “ Stolen Time” which was released early 2010. Mark left soon after as his work commitments meant he had to work nights.

Which brings us to now. Andy bumped into Paul Green and was surprised to hear that Paul had ditched the bass and was now playing mandolin and fiddle with his mate Martyn Hirst who played Banjo and squeezebox, They had a band called “The Windy bottom boys” We invited them down to Henry Boons in Wakefield where I host an acoustic night once a month, friendships were rekindled and we lured them away from the Windy bottom boys with pro- mises of sex and drugs and rock n roll ( non of which materialised) and we have been a 4 piece for around a year.
