eco-friendly style while shopping for or eating healthy food has increased in Naples.

Throughout April, Food & Thought 100% Organic Farm Market is adding apparel selections to Thoughtful Threads, its or- ganic clothing and bedding store that was launched earlier this year. When complete, Thoughtful Threads will offer a variety of casual and dress clothing for all ages of both genders that includes organic cotton and hemp, as well as 100 percent organic bedding, quilts and pillows. Everything will be stocked in a separate 3,000-square-foot space connected to the Food & Thought’s main building via a courtyard. A grand opening event is planned for May. “This is a natural growth for us,” says owner Frank Oakes. “We have great, spe- cial arrangements with several outstand- ing organic clothing manufacturers.” Food & Thought includes a restau- rant and market, offers supplements and hosts special events. Oakes notes that the vegan bakery department that also debuted earlier this year has expanded its hours of operation and now offers cakes, pies, cookies, muffins and other goods, all baked daily.

Location: 2132 Tamiami Trail N. For more info, call 239-213-2222 or visit FoodAnd Thought.com. See ad, page 29.
