Natural Awakenings Sponsors New Summit on Sustainability A


Naples premiere event, the Excel-Eration Summit, is de- signed to connect local businesses, potential investors and the community, with the goal of building a sustainable world. The summit will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., May 24, showcasing businesses whose products, services and/or corporate culture adhere to the principles of business sustainability. Expert speakers will address the topics of sustainable development; social entre-


preneurship; clean energy and water; lifestyle; and sustainable consumer products. Mike Muskatt, the Naples store manager of Whole Foods, will discuss the company’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and share its history of helping start-up firms. In addition, select sustainable business entrepreneurs will showcase their companies to potential investors. Natural Awakenings magazine, which supports healthy living, promotes envi- ronmental responsibility and practices business sustainability, is one of the summit’s sponsors.
